Email is the most popular method of communication, but it’s also the most vulnerable. Hackers are constantly looking for ways to breach your email account, and even steal sensitive information.
The first step is to ensure your passwords are secure and unique. Make sure they’re at a minimum of 16 characters long, and include upper and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.

You can also secure your emails so that only you can read them. This is a great option for email accounts used by businesses where you don’t want your employees to be allowed to copy or forward messages. It’s also recommended to keep your email address private and avoid sharing your address on public websites and social media. If you need to create an alias, make sure that your real email address isn’t visible. Make sure you use multi-factor authentication on all accounts that are important including your email.
